Unlocking the Power of Foliar Fertilisers

The Kangaroo Island Landscape Board is hosting a free workshop: 'Unlocking the Power of Foliar Fertilisers' as a hands-on learning exercise with expert farmers and agronomists.

Workshop presenters include Jenny Stanton (Australian Soil Planners), an agronomy specialist with practical experience in crop nutrition and sustainable fertiliser management, Tom Robinson (Hoyleton), a cropping and livestock specialist with expertise in practical farm solutions and foliar fertiliser applications, and Amanda Schapel (PIRSA) a soil specialist with expertise in soil carbon and health.

Workshop highlights include:

·         Foliar Fertiliser Making: Jenny and Tom will demonstrate step-by-step methods for creating effective broad acre foliar fertilisers to achieve healthier crops and better yields.

·         Soil and Carbon Insights: Amanda will explain how foliar fertilisers interact with soil health and carbon management to optimise crop nutrition.
