The Kangaroo Island Landscape Board is inviting livestock producers to a free, hands-on workshop focused on turning feed planning into better productivity and profitability.
From Feed Budgets to Decisions: Stocking, Feeding & Profitability will be held on Tuesday 14 October, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Stokes Bay Community Hall, followed by a Q&A session at Parndana Pub.
Presented by Basil Doonan of Pinion Advisory – one of Australia’s leading pasture and feed budgeting advisors – the workshop will give producers clear, practical tools to:
· Create a feed profile and monthly feed budgets
· Match stocking rate with true carrying capacity
· Plan cost effective supplementation
